ACHETER MAINTENANT ce tableau primitif original signé par le regretté maître haïtien Gervais Emmanuel Ducasse né à Port-au-Prince, Haïti, en décembre 1903 et décédé en 1988. Ce tableau est signé par GE Ducasse en bas à droite et inscrit le long du bas bordure : « Marchandes Tomates ». Il s'agit d'une huile sur carton et datée de 1977.

Gervais Emmanuel Ducasse was considered the most genuine of the Haitian primitive painters. He was a charming and submissive painter who seemed to have no conception of the environment worl: of life; he took snapshots, notwithstanding good or evil. Such paintings by Ducasse are jealously guarded by collectors all over the world. Ducasse's name is mentioned in all significant Haitian art books. His artworks are exhibited at many museums worldwide, including Nader's Art Museum, Museum" College St Pierre" in Haiti, and the Brooklyn Museum of Art in NY.
