The known Haitian artist Bourmond Byron signed this original oil on board, which is in good condition and framed 42"x 30". It represents a dark-colored banana plantation from the Mastandrea family collection in Texas, where the painting will be shipped. Our gallery will issue a certificate of authenticity upon purchase.

Haitian artist Bourmond Byron was born in Jacmel in 1920. On the advice of a friend, he joined the Centre d'Art to improve his painting of horses. His work is characterized by a greenish-blue background, with lighter subjects in the center of his canvas. He has been exhibited in Haiti and the United States.
