Galland Sémérand (Haitian, 1953-2019)

Galland Semerand est né au Cap-Haïtien en 1953. Il est issu de l'atelier de Philome Obin. " L'usage du détail de Semerand dérive du réalisme typique des artistes du Cap, mais ses peintures reflètent aussi une certaine idéalisation" Gérald Alexis dans son livre d'art "Peintres Haïtiens". Galland Sémérand est décédé en décembre 2019.
