Ernst Louizor, the late famous Haitian Impressionist artist, signed this original 10"x 8" market scene oil on canvas painting created in 1999. It is in good condition and sold unframed. The painting represents a typical market scene as seen by the artist. It belongs to Myriam Nader's private collection in New York.

Ernst Louizor was born in Port-au-Prince in 1938 and died on Aug , 2011. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, and Impressionism was reborn in Haiti thanks to him. He has exhibited in Europe, the US, and Japan; his art is mentioned in all significant Haitian art books.
