Collection: Ken Forbes (American)

The American cubist-expressionist abstract artist Ken Forbes, or ArtBoy, is a Brooklyn artist specializing in interactive artworks that tell stories. His paintings include those made with coffee and cacao. Forbes uses those elements and various shades of brown to pay homage to his heritage and reminds us that we are all nothing more than different shades of brown; we are all human. Forbes is an award-winning artist who works from his studio in downtown Manhattan. His work has been featured at Miamis Art Basel and showcased at Bitcoin Miami. He also held the prestigious honor of a residency in Manhattans historic Germania Building, once the home of Pop Art legend Roy Lichtenstein. Forbes is self-taught and primarily works in abstract expressionism and cubism. Having lived many lives, including culinary, hospitality, acting and modeling, and finance, Forbes fell into art about eight years ago while on a retreat with friends. Art became the conduit through which he could finally express things he otherwise didnt know how to. Forbes hopes his artworks inspire people to become better versions of themselves so that we can all be better together. Ken Forbes, aka ArtBoy, paintings are now for sale at Myriam Nader Art Gallery, NY. Scroll Down to make your selection (s).
