 A legend in his country, Hector Hyppolite is the most famous Haitian master from Haiti. He's known for his aesthetically intricate yet highly intuitive paintings. Using chicken feathers, fingers, and brushes, Hyppolite produced a work of remarkable richness and complexity. He died in 1948 at the peak of his fame, leaving a legacy that has inspired a whole school of Haitian painting. His art collected and exhibited worldwide never ceases to awe the global art world. The Musée du College St Pierre, the Foundation of Marie & Georges S.
