Claude Andy Saint Rome Labossière, born on September 15, 1980, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, comes from a family deeply rooted in the arts. His grandfather, Gerard Saint Rome, was a renowned painter and photographer, while his father, Claude Mario Saint Rome, is a prominent artist and a movie producer. Andy embarked on his artistic journey from a young age, as he's affectionately known. After studying Visual Arts in Puerto Rico, he obtained his Bachelor's degree in 2003 and pursued a Master of Fine Arts in 2006. Andy has been actively involved in various exhibitions and charitable endeavors. He participated in auctions to support foundations and non-profit organizations, showcased his work in international exhibitions, and even engaged in art therapy for traumatized children in Haiti after the devastating earthquake of 2010. His passion for art has taken him across the globe, from collective exhibitions in Puerto Rico to participating in auctions in New York and Miami. Andy's commitment to his craft and humanitarian efforts reflect his dedication to making a difference through art. In recent years, he has continued to exhibit his work in biennials and collective shows, including commemorating cultural figures like Julia de Burgos and contributing to fundraisers for Haiti's development. Andy's artistic journey is a testament to his talent, compassion, and determination to use his art for positive change. Claude Andy today lives in Puerto Rico.
