Raoul Viard is best known for his landscapes and vibrant colors applied with a spatula. he has been exhibited locally and in the US where his work were chosen by the Haitian government to inaugurate the World Health Organization in Washington, DC. "His skill allowed him to produce a large number of landscape paintings" states the art critic and author. Gerald Alexis in his book "Peintres Haitiens".
