About this artist
St. Louis Blaise was born on February 11, 1956, in Cap-Haitian, Haiti., and died in 1993. Blaise worked under Jean-Baptiste Botttex and Seymour Bottex for two years.
St. Louis Blaise's style is realistic, and the design element is essential and highly precise. His works are the fruit of the patient's effort and minute observation. He draws his inspiration from Haitian history, especially the beginning of the 19th century, the Revolution, the Empire, and the Kingdom of Henri Christophe with his Sans Souci Palace full of feather-decked generals.
St. Louis Blaise also paints bouquets, trees sagging with fruit, and vividly coloured underwater panoramas more decoratively. He has tended more toward hyper-realism. Blaise's works are co by collectors, shown at most reputable art galleries, and exhibited in international countries, mainly France.
