Description

This beautiful vintage painting depicts a marina scene with an intense palette knife. It's an original 24"x32" oil on canvas titled "Marine" in the back, created in 1973. It is signed J. Garcon, a.k.a Jacques Garçon, in the back and the lower right corner, from the collection of Myriam Nader. It is sold unframed and has minor cracks.

About this artist



Known also as Jacques Garcon, he began painting in 1968. The influence of Charles Obas has directed him towards his form of symbolism. Garcon is one of the best Haitian impressionist artists still alive.
