Description

The late famous primitive Haitian painter Charles Anatole created this beautiful rural scene oil on board original Haitian painting in 1950 (signed & dated in the lower right corner), depicting a sad news scene in the town in a primitive style. The internationally well-acclaimed art critic Gerald Alexis carefully chose the artwork as part of the Marie & Georges S. Nader Foundation collection. Our gallery will issue a certificate of authenticity upon purchase.
