The known Haitian artist Bourmond Byron signed this original oil on board, which is in good condition and unframed.   It represents a rural backyard scene in dark colors from the Foundation Marie & Georges S. About this artist

Haitian artist Bourmond Byron was born in Jacmel in 1920. On the advice of a friend, he joined the Centre d'Art to improve his painting of horses. His work is characterized by a greenish-blue background, with lighter subjects in the center of his canvas. He has been exhibited in Haiti and the United States.
