Angelo Romano is a contemporary Spanish post-war artist born in 1933, most known for his angels. He has produced a vast body of work: frescos in cathedrals, theater sets in auditoriums and clubs, designs for totems and clothes, masks, furniture, and free-standing sculptures. His exhibitions include over 300 shows. His art is at museums and private collections in Europe, Latin, and North America, including Museo Call Barrio —New York: Hostos Community College: Museo de Arte Popular - AlDacete. Spain: Museo de Arte De Ponce. Ponce — Puerto Pico; Museo de Arte Moderns - Rio de Janeiro. Private collections include the Prince of Bourbon and the Duchess of Alba, one of the Rockefeller family.
