Myriam Nader Art Gallery Presents A Solo Exhibition Featuring Paintings By Jean Adrien Seide
New York - Myriam Nader Art Gallery is presenting a solo online exhibition featuring landscape paintings by Jean Adrien Seide on Artsy from April 27, 2022.
Myriam Nader Art Gallery is proud to present an online solo exhibition by Jean Adrien Seide on artsy.net for the first time.
The solo exhibition features blue & serene landscape paintings by Haitian-born master painter Jean Adrien Seide who draws his inspiration from the mountains of Jacmel, the river of Artibonite, the Peligre lac, and the cascade of Saut Mathurin in Haiti.
"Horizontal lines evoking fields cross the vertical lines of trees to create a coherent landscape." (Peintres Haitiens by Gérald Alexis).
Seide paints exceptionally structured landscapes, with a series of fields spreading out towards a distant horizon. At first glance, his paintings look representational, but a more detailed examination leads to a fascination, and the fantastic element predominates over the immediate reality. Seide has exhibited in Haiti, Ottawa, Montreal, and Miami. His art is internationally collected and exhibited. Seide is well-known among art collectors all around the globe, who like his simple landscapes, and the Musée de Vence in France and the Haitian Heritage Museum in Miami have his works in their permanent collections.
